Get to know Gresham

Gresham was born into the Holy Orthodox  Church and it is this faith lives in his very core. Being baptized into the Orthodox faith is the greatest gift anyone can receive and through gratitude and obedience he strives to never take it for granted.  Gresham was tonsured a Reader in the church in the year 2019 which fulfilled a longstanding commitment to liturgical music and scripture. From learning Byzantine Notation at 10 years old to serving on the parish council presently, Gresham has never lost the fiery love of Christ that glows eternally in his soul. He received his Master's Level Certificate in Orthodox Theology from The Antiochian House of Studies in 2025. He continues to use his knowledge of theological and practical Orthodoxy for the betterment of his local parish, the Diocese of Toledo and the Midwest, and the Antiochian Archdiocese of North America. 

Gresham's father is a successful Realtor, talented writer, and an extraordinary dad. He is always ready to advise Gresham with patience and wisdom, never forgetting to love him every single day. R.Leo Olson also gave the gift of musical appreciation to Gresham. While unable to play any instruments himself, he used the hours of windshield time showing homes to expose Gresham to vast musical artists and genres that rounded out Gresham's musical taste. From Guster to Sting, From Sinatra to Ozzy Osbourne, and from Bluegrass to Byzantine chant, Gresham owes his vast love of music to his father. 

Gresham's Mother is a successful executive specializing in Power BI, Informatics, and data migration. She is a driving inspiration to Gresham both professionally and personally.  Her quiet spirituality and lived Orthodox faith is a safe harbor for Gresham. 

 "Seeing that we have no boldness on account of our many sins, do thou beseech Him that was born of thee, O Virgin Theotokos for the supplication of a mother availeth much to win the Master's favor." ( Theotokion of the 6th Hour). 

Emily's consistent prayer and business acumen have served as a north star for Gresham to follow on a journey towards love & happiness... She also loves Al Green the great Grand Rapidian. 

Gresham was blessed with two younger sisters, each with their own unique talents and interests. Both of them teach Gresham new lessons everyday. In the teenage years it was what not to say but in the adult years it is what to say. True, Kind, and Necessary are the rules to the game when talking to your younger sisters but a statement that always fulfills the rules is "I love you" 

Cecelia is an impressive young women with a passion for work with non-profits and other charitable organizations. This passion has taken her all over the country and with distance the heart grows fonder. Her unrivaled passion to pursue charity and love for those less fortunate is admirable to say the least. 

Sophia is a uniquely gifted woman with an incredible sense of humor, peace, and love. Her passion and love has motivated her to forgo a promising career in interior design and pursue a career as a Veterinary Technician. She possesses a inexplicable vibe that allows her to brighten any room with joy and laughter.
